Lominsan Commando

Some of the folks over at FFXIV Glamours are so nice! Just got the green-light to use this outfit, from LordSkeletor on Reddit. This is probably the closest we're going to get to a legit Lominsan Commando until YoshiP finally breaks down and gives us muskets.

Changed the blog name.

Sure did! As you've already noticed, the blog is now called XIV Fashion. Why? Well, we discovered a problem today: The name of the game we're playing is barely mentioned anywhere! How are people supposed to find this site in their search engines?! Ultimately we chose to go with XIV Fashion for pragmatic reasons. Sure, it's not a very interesting name. But when people look for XIV outfits, they aren't googling 'Moogle Clothes'. Already this name change has turned up an increase in activity. And of course I just redid the banner. I'm not in love with it, but it'll do for now. The problem with the old one was that we were using some fan art without permission from the artist, and I didn't really feel comfortable continuing that. So now we have these little Lalafells, at least for awhile.

Surprise! I race-changed to Midlander. Honestly, there's a moderate chance I'll change back once Fantasia goes up for sale, but this was my last one for now. Anyway, I made a Hyur-friendly version of my signature look.

Re-tagging

I completely redid the tags this morning. The old system was inconsistent, convoluted, and generally useless. The new system is a lot simpler: Click your job, see outfits you can wear. I'm going to play around with the settings and see if we can't do more advanced searches (multiple jobs, all jobs, etc). Ideally I'll be able to throw up some buttons with some fancy graphics and everything will be awesome.
